About the Project
This project marks the third addition to The Carl portfolio, our brand of all-inclusive, fully furnished student housing built for USD students who want a stress-free college experience. As with our other locations, every home comes fully furnished and equipped with smart home technology, high-speed fiber internet, and the shared amenities from rooftop decks to communal lounges that have defined The Carl brand since day one.
This building also represents a new chapter of experimentation for us. We used this development to test new approaches to unit mix and design, building on lessons learned from the first two properties to refine what the ideal student housing layout looks like — balancing private living space with the social, community-driven environment students are looking for.
